Clerodendrum ugandense is one of my favourite plants in my collection. I've had it about six years now and it flowers steadily through the summer in the garden. But it is easily tricked so if I let it suffer a few cold autumn nights and then bring it indoors into the warm it soon flowers again................
This year it is earlier as we had some really cold nights in early September. When it has finished flowering I put it in the unheated shed for the rest of the winter.
Yes, a lovely plant with flowers the hole year, when you give her a place near the window in winter. Here is the thread in this forum: Rotheca myricioides (The seeds on the first site are not from this plant)

I should try to remember the new name but I keep forgetting it!
Oh, that's not important The scientists loves to change the names It's better to grow

The name changes are annoying but as long as we know which plant we talk about it is not so important to amateur growers like me. It is the growing that is important. When I buy new seeds I remember that "if I try I can always fail, but if I never try I can never succeed" (I hope that translates well).
But your Caryopteris divaricata looks like more better. I like it, it's beauty.
I bring it up as I have a seed grown one. So far it has survived -2°c so I hope that it will be hardy when it is fully mature. Thee seeds are available at PlantWorldSeed.
