I am growing a few from the genus Albuca. The first two are very easy to grow from seed and quite cold tolerant;

1] Albuca humilis is a low growing plant.............


2] Albuca shawii is about 60cm tall when flowering. It produces many baby bulbs rapidly and soon fills a pot...............




3] Albuca bracteata used to be called Ornithogalum longibracteatum.............


4] My favourite - Albuca nelsonii. It is a very large bulb..........






Care is easy for all Albuca - good light and do not water too much.
